Nexus Consulting & Management is led by Jakub Poczobut. The practice is deliberately small: the person who prices the work is the person who runs it.
It began on the tools, as a carpenter. Then nine years running construction and operations for a high-end London fit-out contractor — private residences in Kensington, Victoria and Knightsbridge, between £1m and £1.6m apiece, the sort of work where the detail is the job.
Then the same trade at a different scale. Fit-out and package management for Multiplex at Holland Park Villas, construction management for 8Build on the refurbishment of Salters’ Hall. Developer side next, as project manager and later construction director for Izaki Group Investments on the £45m Long & Waterson scheme in Shoreditch. Most recently at LEMA UK, delivering the joinery and panelling package across 137 rooms at The Chancery Rosewood on Grosvenor Square.
Small private jobs, £100m developments, and both sides of the contract. Most people in construction have seen one of those. Having worked all of them is why problems tend to surface early here, while they are still cheap to fix.
Credentials
Master’s equivalent qualification in senior construction management.
Accredited site management and health & safety training.
Public liability and professional indemnity cover in place. Certificates on request.
JCT and bespoke forms, including Minor Works, Intermediate and Design & Build.
Dutyholder coordination, construction phase plans, RAMS review and H&S file.
